Bird Watching in Norfolk
Norfolk is renowned as a birdwatchers paradise – with a stunning range of birdlife from huge flocks of winter migrants on the coast, a vast range of marsh loving birds on the Broads – to the nesting peregrines on Norwich Cathedral.
With Norfolk being blessed with nearly 100 miles of spectacular coastline and the Norfolk Broads being the UK’s largest wetland, the range of birdlife is just astonishing. Just look up from our cottages to see buzzards wheeling and calling in the sky and hear tawny owls at night.
Here are just a few ideas for you.
A favourite with our regular visitors, why not combine your visit to our cottages with a tour from local wildlife specialist Carl Chapman. He will collect you, provide refreshments, lunch and binoculars and return you to the cottage after a fascinating day with his expert knowledge. With discounts for 3 or more guests and half price for children, it’s an enjoyable day for all ages.
